FA Cup First Round

The draw for the first round of the FA Cup has been made and Southend United will be....
away to Preston North End.
Preston are currently mid table in League One and will prove a tough test for The Shrimpers.
Most fans would have prefered a home tie at this stage of the cup or a match against a local non-league side such as East Thurrock, but it's not all doom and gloom as this will see just how far Sturrock and his men have come. I don't think Preston will relish the draw either although they are at home, they face the current League Two leaders who have won their last 5 away games.
